NUKI Children's & Teens' Beds – Furniture Built for Generations
Some furniture is bought once. Not because nothing better exists, but because there is no need to look further. A bed that withstands the energy of a toddler, keeps pace with a teenager and calmly waits for its user to grow up is not a myth. It is the NUKI Dream bed.
The NUKI children's and teens' bed collection is rooted in the philosophy that has defined the brand from the very start: premium birch plywood furniture, handcrafted in Poland, designed to serve for years without compromise. Every NUKI bed meets and exceeds European safety standards for furniture stability and strength. You could arrange a small family picnic on a NUKI bed – the 150 kg load capacity speaks for itself.
18mm Birch Plywood – a Foundation Built for Generations
The choice of material at NUKI is never accidental. Birch is one of the hardest and densest trees growing in European forests. It grows slowly in the cold climate of the north, and each year of growth adds another layer of densely packed, uniform wood. This slowness is precisely what gives birch its exceptional properties: resistance to warping, swelling, abrasion and shape changes caused by moisture.
The 18mm birch plywood used by NUKI in children's beds is an exceptionally demanding material to work with. Each board consists of many thin layers of birch wood bonded perpendicular to each other, giving it strength many times greater than solid wood of the same thickness. The layered cross-section visible on the side of every Dream bed is the collection's signature and tangible proof of the quality of the raw material used.
A full birch plywood base in the bed structure – not only in the frame but in every single element – is what determines the durability of the furniture. There are no chipboard panels hidden under veneer, no MDF bonded from cheap fibres. There is only what you see: layered, beautiful, lasting birch.
NUKI Children's & Teens' Bed Models
Dream Symmetrical
Classic form with matching side heights. Clean, balanced silhouette that looks equally well in a pre-schooler's room and a teenager's bedroom. The symmetrical model works beautifully against a wall or in the centre of the room.
Dream Asymmetrical – Left or Right Side
One higher side, available in left-side-up or right-side-up configuration. The taller side creates a natural sense of safety for children who sleep against a wall or prefer tucking into one corner. Particularly popular among parents of younger children who want an extra safeguard against rolling out during sleep.
Dream Base
A bed with a raised headboard and raised footboard, creating a distinct, sculptural form. Dream Base has a more complex silhouette than the standard variant, with lines reminiscent of classic furniture with clearly articulated structural elements. The choice for those who want the bed to make a statement in the room.
Dream Light
Low, discreet sides sitting close to the floor, with a calm and understated silhouette. The lightest-looking model in the collection, it fits beautifully in open, minimalist children's rooms inspired by Montessori philosophy. Low sides do not restrict the child, allowing independent in and out from an early age.
Dream House
The most magical model in the collection. A bed with a house-shaped roof available in several window and door configurations, allowing the character of the furniture to match the room and the child's imagination. The Dream House turns a bedroom into a place of adventure, building a sense of personal space and security within surroundings close to childhood dreams. Available in four sizes and multiple window layouts, made from the same premium birch plywood as the rest of the Dream collection.
