All NUKI desks are made from 100% European birch plywood. Every surface is hand-sanded to an exceptionally smooth finish, which you feel immediately at first touch. Two types of surface finish are available:

Water-based varnish – eco-friendly, certified safe for children, free from harmful substances. It highlights the natural warmth of birch grain and gives the desk its characteristic Scandinavian character.

HPL laminate from renowned European manufacturers – highly resistant to scratches, stains and the wear of everyday use. Available in a wide range of colours, in a smooth, satin-like finish. Among the available options is a fingerprint-resistant laminate whose surface does not hold fingerprints or handprints, so the desk always looks clean and neat. This is particularly practical for children's spaces where surfaces are touched constantly.
